Kulen Mountain Waterfall, Siem Reap Cambodia

Welcome to Kulen Mountain Waterfall
       Kulen Mountain or Phnom Kulen is declared as a national park. It is some 48 km from the lips isolated mountain massif located in Svay-ray area in Siem Reap. That is the highest point is 487 meters.

      
It is widely regarded as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer empire. During the period of the structure of the ancient temple of nineth century, Angkor sand stone taken from this sacred mountain. It was here in Phnom Kulen king Jayavarman II declared independence from the year 802 Java.


         
Site, known as the piece represents fertility, its water will keep a special meaning to the Cambodian people. Many inches are inscribed in more than 1000 pieces of sandstone riverbed for Yeon-hee and linger underwater. Vishnu in Hinduism waters are considered to give to his leg and his wife Lakshmi sacred pieces, including a representation of the sacred stone lying on his serpent Ananta. Lotus is projected in the belly of the God Vishnu, Brahma bearings. The river ends in the beautiful waterfall. Phnom Kulen has been praised as a sacred place for Cambodian people and developed a great travel destination.
